Blackouts:
Cincinnati, Jacksonville, and Kansas City will not see an early game on FOX because their home town team is playing at home at the same time.

Oakland and St. Louis will not see the late game on FOX because their home town team is playing at home at the same time.

Just wondering...

When the hell were Giants games ever on CBS and when the hell were Jets games ever on Fox?

Did they switch this year? LOL

dcowboy7

it goes by the visitor:

if visitor is afc then cbs gets the game.
if visitor is nfc then fox gets the game.

been like that for years.

So, should the Washington vs. Dallas game be considered a national HD game? :)

Awesome.

Thank God for that.
Here in NY we have Arizona/Jets, then SD/OAK. I guess thats what happens when 6 teams have a BYE.

I see the Nantz/Simms duo are stuck with the Chargers/Raiders game. They have to do some game, right? :D

No. Some areas will be blacked out and will not get that game since that's the only late game for Fox.

How in the world did they decide those of us in eastern and middle Tennessee get the Buffalo-St. Louis game? The Titans are on Fox since they host Minnesota and we normally get the Colts if the Titans are off or on another network, but they are off this week. But the Bills-Rams? I don't get that one.

Whether it’s blacked out in certain areas or not its still the national game. If that map bleeds any more red were going to have to resuscitate it. ;)

Why are parts of Oregon getting Cleveland/Cincinnati?

What if St Louis and Oak doesn't sell enough tickets and the game is blacked out, will they then be able to get WAS/DAL or will they flip flop the late games on CBS ( OAK gets the BUF/STL game and STL will get SD/OAK).

WRGT (FOX Dayton, OH) coverage area covers pretty much the entire Cincinnati metro, so most people in the area can get the early FOX game OTA and avoid the blackout. Of course they'll most likely be more concerned with watching Cincinnati and Cleveland to see which team avoids starting the season 0-4...

Derek Anderson, Chad (Ocho Cinco) Jackson, and TJ Houshmanzadeh all played at Oregon State.

Field Reporters with the exception of Tony Siragusa get left off the list. He is only on the list because he is an analyst, not a reporter.

If this is your decision then I would hope you could rethink it. If its becasue you can't get the information then that is understandable.

Its not clear in your post which it is so the question has to be asked, although I suspect its the latter.

Your efforts are greatly appreciated and we look forward to this becoming a sticky.

I'm confused. I'm a Cowboys fan living in San Diego. Normally, they never show a game conflicting with the Chargers game. I have Dish Network, and on my guide it shows the Cowboys game as coming on at the same time of the Chargers game.

I keep checking to see if they update it and remove the Cowboys, but they haven't. Will both games be on? I hope so, but it usually isn't that way.

San Diego is playing on the road so you will receive the Cowboys game.

Chargers are playing at Oakland, so that game will be on CBS/KFMB (8/708).

Cowboys game will be on Fox/KSWB (5/705).

If you paid more attention to the maps you'd see that San Diego gets to see both games. Imperial County to the east and Arizona do not.

I just looked at the maps again, particularly the Fox late game. I made sure to zoom in.

Imperial County and all of Arizona is getting the early Fox game - Cardinals at Jets.

Most of Arizona is getting the Redskins at Cowboys game - but Imperial County, CA, a lot of San Bernardino County, CA and southwest Arizona along the I-8 corridor thru Yuma are blacked out (map shows them grey instead of red). Why this is happening is beyond me.

I have no idea what you are seeing....

Fox late game is only blacked out in 2 markets: Oakland/SF Bay Area and St. Louis (primary markets of the 2 home teams on CBS)

I don't think your map loaded fully. On JP's site, he or someone has recommended you use Firefox instead of IE for the maps and I second that emotion.;)

Yeah, I have that problem. In week 1, I thought we were blacked out in NYC. Turns out my map did not load fully. I have to refresh a couple of times before it loads fully.
