Hi,

I plan on buying a new monitor to use as second monitor/HDTV. I have Comcast and will subscribe to their HD plan. I planned on hooking it up via HDMI or DVI. I was just wondering if I needed a HDCP compliant monitor for this to work? I tried searching but haven't found any mention of this for Cable Boxes.

Thanks in advanced!

Any display with an HDMI connection should be compliant already. If you go the DVI route, yes most likely to work with Comcast you'll need one that's HDCP compliant.
