Greetings! This forum has been of great help to me as my family and I have looked for and selected a new HDTV. I've searched and read through many threads, but I can't find anything to answer my question. (Mods, if I'm asking this in the wrong place, please feel free to move it where it should be!).
Last week I set up my Samsung PN50A450 plasma HDTV (basic, standard audio set-up, nothing extra right now).
My problem: There is a very noticeable and distracting buzz and vibration from the speakers. I have to keep the audio level at 15 (out of 100) just to be able to sit through any show. Music played through the DVD player (Philips DVP-5992) seems to be okay. And it does not buzz on every piece of audio (for example, a light, soft women's voice will not trigger it, but most men's voices do).
I am using HDMI cables. I have attempted to minimize this problem by fiddling with the levels and settings. But it persists. It is extremely distracting and really ruins the experience.
Any advice? Should I exchange for a new PN50A450 at the store? Should I contact someone at Samsung and see if they can come out? Are there any settings or levels that I should further adjust?
Thanks guys, you are the best!
