need some advice on Wire management. I have my HT set up against wall (see photo attached. system is not in photo but it is there, camera is out for repair and I'll post updated photos tomorrow when its back)

anyway I digress. My HT set up is on the wall in picture. Next to it is door way to Balcony. As far as I can tell the only way to run my cables is along the door frame with the coax that is there now for cable. I also need to run the Subwoofer audio cable and surrounds speaker cable (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10239&cs_id=1023902&p_id=4039&seq=1&format=2) along the same track.

I've been looking at a couple of these kits Wiremold C210 (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00004W3ZQ/ref=pd_luc_mri?_encoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance) but not sure if they are good or will be wide enough.

Any advice?

Thanks

The problem with using Wiremold in that situation is that it will make your doorframe look really fat. And odd. In your situation, I would consider one of those molded cable runners they use at concerts, etc. except not as thick (see here (http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-6-Gray-Cord-Concealer/dp/B001EVY1R2/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1222369714&sr=8-5)). Your door doesn't have a plate, so there might be some room under the door.

You might also cut back some of the green carpet/astroturf on your patio and slide the wires between the wood and the material. That should give you plenty of space.

I currently have the sub audio cable run around the bottom of the frame, under the door , under the astro turf and back in on the other side of the door. Only issue is the space under the door is not very high and all those cables would be really thick.

I thought about going through either the frame or wall but the frame is small and metal and the walls are pretty thick (exterior brick)

for that Belkin cord concealer where would you suggest running it?

Could you do a wall penetration from where your equipment sits, around the door on the patio, along the outside of the building followed by another wall penetration to the back of the room where your speakers are?
