I downloaded a few themes onto my USB flashdrive,and when I go to Theme settings>Theme>Install,it says USB Device(Storage Media),so I press X, and it says There are no themes. What am I doing wrong? How do you transfer themes from a USB device to the PS3???:confused:

You need to create the correct folders. I don't remember what it is but I ran into that problem too.

I'll google them, if you don't find it first.

Did you make sure that the folder names are in all caps?

Its two different folders man. You need one thats called PS3 and inside that folder you need another folder called Themes. Copy your downloaded themes to the themes folder.

I did that.The folder with the themes is named THEMES.I made another folder named PS3,and transfered the THEMES folder inside it.I put the flashdrive into the PS3,and it's still not working.
I know it's not the flashdrive cause I have pics on it I can look at on the PS3,and it's a Sony USB flashdrive.:confused:

I would've never figured this out.:)Grimm a simple way to figure this out for the future and for any interested party. Download an image/theme/mp3 ect. and copy from the PS3 to the memory card first. Then access the card on the computer and you will be able to see how the PS3 sets up the folders to transfer the files. Then you can do it in the reverse the next time if necessary. This came up recently with a gentleman and his game save, he couldn't figure out the right folder combo to get it uploaded to the PS3. Told him to just save a different game save to the card and when he checked it on his PC he saw the right folder sets and the subsequent upload to the PS3 was a breeze. Just an FYI - going in reverse can help sometimes.
