ps3 is hooked up on wired linkxus and it is way slower than the 360 or computer, it also randomly disconnects ive never had to configure anything for the network other than the basic set up on windows so im totally lost :( also sometimes when it does the random disconnect it totally shuts down my network and i have to unplug the router and the modem

Before my PS3 **** out on me it did that to me constantly but mine is wireless. I had to reset my modem and it would take off again. It also depends on your ping time also. I usually did better if someone I was playing with had a good connection and played in their party.

dude i have 3 ps3 die on me already and i thought this was what gameing was about but guess not oh well. i also tried to replace the harddrive and lol all nails got striped sony makes horrible product sometimes.

I wish i had bought an Xbox instead of my PS3. I mean how hard should it be to get the darn HDD nails out. Friggen sony!
