Im coming up on the end of my Dish Network contract and want to explore what DTV has to offer.

How is there top of the line box compare dish's VIP 722 box? Does anyone have any good links for what the menu's and such look like on DTV's setup? Any other info appreciated on what you like about each different box..

thanks

The HR2X series are the only HD DVR's that Directv offers, you can find more about them in the Recorders section here and/or at the dbstalk.com Directv HD-DVR section.

The software is basically the same between the HR2X models, you can see screen shots in the manuals for them.

No hijack intended, but is the logo guide format available with any of the new HD recievers?
