"As a gamer that is a veterinarian, I think this could be a cool way to create a level that teaches kids some kind of basic anatomy. Shouldn't we have a level that starts of by entering the mouth of a dog/cat/human and you have to avoid obsticles along the way. Avoid the teeth and land on the tongue. Bounce off the tongue and land is the esophogus and as your traveling down you pass the ribs, heart, ect. winding up in the stomach, where you need to avoid food and other object. Then you pass down the GI tract and exit the animal in an imaginary, not so graphic way (although that could be fun too). May be they pass some worms on the way out of dog, or a mouse in a cat. I just think it could be a fun way to do a side scroller through the body systems. Fun, entertaining and educational. Maybe?

Well, I'm sure I'm too late, but I mentioned my Attack of 80s Metal level idea. Maybe by calling it a cross between Rock Band and Resident Evil will help them find a Beta code for me. :D

I passed the idea of completely re-creating World 1:1 from Super Mario Bros past my son (11) and he just said it was stupid..

His idea (which we submited) was to try and get an Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost ark style level going with rockets and and water traps and sitches that could save you (by opening a door) or trap you (by filling the level with water and spikes.

He has been talking about this game non stop.. I didn't get it at first.. but through his eyes, i see a lot of potential in it. (He has even discussed making a school project with it, recording it and submitting it on dvd..) In his mind, in his world, LBP is an endless possibility of potential.

I learn so much from him.

So im becoming more convinced that this is indeed not a game. Its a hobby. Thats a compliment, this is exactly what Sony had intended i believe. If you dont think this is a system seller? If you bought the XBOX just for Halo, like i did, this is going to be huge.....even if you dont like it;)

Just so people know...you don't need your own code. If you know someone that got one and you happen to game share with them, you can download the game (beta) for your PS3 and use what ever account you want on your PS3. I got mine from King (he's in my Fab 5) ;)!

I am going to try and get one tomorrow. But working 14 hour days makes it tough. We will see. The good news is not too long until the full blown game comes out. :)

I suggest you hang on to that key and use it for yourself. It locks my wife's PS3 for 24 hours if she wants to play that game (the old Warhawk issue). She's got no problems with it, just saying if you get one, hang on to it.

My idea was to have a level in an auto junkyard. Bouncing off seats, hoods and trunks popping open, rolling wheels, cranes, magnetic car lifters, conveyor belts... I think it would be a lot of fun, and be a really cool environment.

You think they'd do something slightly less annoying by giving people a couple days to sign up, then choosing 1000 at random. I mean, they're intentionally choking their own servers? Kinda silly.

I think i got in before the server crashed. But yeah, I agree with what you guys are saying.

I'm acutally surprised that LBP killing off most of the mainstream gaming websites one by one as fans chase beta codes around isn't newsworthy material.

IGN has resumed emailing some codes. I got mine about 20 minutes ago. Original email was sent to them at 6:59. Appears they are going in order.
