Ive been trying to think of a way to get my PS3 online andI think I may have found a solution, I think. I have the 20 gig Ps3 which isnot wireless enabled. At thetime of purchase I had no interest in online gaming so I did think I would need wireless. Anyways Im eating my words right now with games like Resistance 2, and Far Cry 2 approaching.I have no cable connection in my room, but I do have Road Runner. There is a cable connection in my sisters room right next door. if I were to get a 2nd cable modem, and connect the cable from the wall tothe new modem and the Tv via a splitter could I just run a ethernet cable from my PS3 to the cable modem next door. I really haveno ideahpw thatworks. if I already have road runner is it possible to just connectother modems throughout the house?

Just get a WiFi router and set it in bridge mode and connect it to your PS3. The modem elsewhere in your home will need a router connected to it too to serve as the access point.

Check out Netgear's or Linksys' powerline ethernet adapters. It connects your PS3 to your modem using wired ethernet through your home's powerlines. All you need is a free electrical outlet near your PS3 and your modem.
