Is anyone using either the Sim2 D80 or D80E with an anamorphic lens ?

If so, which lens ?

What happened to the review that was to come from Jason on the D80e after CEDIA? I was really looking forward to it. Maybe with the review Tausifs may get his question answered too.

I have used it with an ISCO II many times, no problems, excellent overall picture. The only thing you should ascertain is you can use the tele position of the zoom. Otherwise the cone of the beam might get too wide before it enters the lense.

If you need more information you can also PM me.

I used a Panamorph with a D80e...worked very well but as stated, you want to try and use it to the longer end of the throw.

the D80E has more power in the picture, a gift from using UNISHAPE in controlling the lamp power.

I have tested it also with an ISCO III, works fine.

Never planned on one...I think you mean the D60...I skipped it.
