Both the ESPN and ESPN2 noon games look nice via Comcast in Detroit.

The FSU v Colorado game does not look very sharp on ABC HD. Watching via Directv. It appears that the sideline camera is out of focus and when a non sideline camera zooms in the picture is outstanding.

I joined the Mich/Wisc game late. Is Griese in the booth or somewhere else? He sounds like he is somewhere else.

Watching on Comcast in Boston, getting FSU/CU on ABC, and was getting the HS feed of Wisconsin/Michigan on ESPN. Then it switched to ESPNewsHD? I'm getting UW/UM on the ESPN SD channel, why not HD also? :confused:

FSU/CU has got to be the worst PQ Ive seen on an HD broadcast on ABC. Is it really in HD? It really looks like 16:9 SD to me, even though I dont think ABC has ever done such a broadcast.

I was just about to say this. OTA Orlando, FL WFTV. HORRIBLE quality. I thought my hdmi cable wasn't in all the way(I swapped it out to watch a dvd on my ps3 earlier, requires HDMI for that :( ), and I switched to My65 and saw the Gators lose(woohoo) in great quality. WOFL(Fox) is showing Brewers/Cubs baseball and it looks magnificent. Not to mention the always stunning CBS picture quality

Comcast is correct, it is a ESPN blackout issue. ESPN only shows one of their regional games in HD. You are incorrectly being blackedout of ESPNHD, this is remotely controlled from ESPN. You should only be blackedout on ESPN HD if Wisconsin vs. Michigan was the ABC game in your area.

Yep, even ESPN's own coverage map shows that I should be getting it in HD! :mad:

Ditto in the ATL, looks like widescreen SD.

PQ on Virginia Tech-Nebraska is horrible. Looks like Fox Widescreen. KNXV-DT Phoenix via Cox cable. Guess those PQ problems everyone is reporting on primetime shows on the West feed extends to football on it too.

In the last 10 minutes or so, the main TV field camera on the UGA/Bama game has gotten very noisy. Every other camera is EXCEPTIONALLY clear, I would call it near perfect, but the main action camera has got some sort of a problem.

The Alabama PQ is typical ESPNHD 720P garbage. This is just awful. Right now this looks like 480P at best.

Actually, with the exception of the noisy main game camera, everything else is exceptional.

Audio for PSU/Illinois is very choppy here on ABC (Comcast Boston). Picture looks good.

I see the return of the "dancing grass" from my station (OTA). The dark areas of the grass are have areas that are switching between darker and lighter every second.
