Looking over the Sports pack for DirecTV, I can't tell if Comcast Bay Area is available in HD. They don't indicate as such, but they also don't indicate it for Mid-atlantic or MASN, both of which are available in HD (I know, because I have them).

I'm trying to decide if I should buy the sports pack to just get Sharks games in HD rather than pay the $160 for NHL Center Ice.

The Sports Pack would not get you hockey games. It would get you the RSNs, but they would be blacked out for live sports unless you had Center Ice.

CSNBA is not full time HD. Still sharing. Suks...As a example, Giants baseball games by my estimate showed about 60% in HD. Last year maybe 1 in 4 Sharks games where in HD. Just guessing on the numbers but it isn't full time.

Really? That sucks. So why would anyone buy the full sports pack of regionals? To watch bass fishing and paid programming on demand?
