Hi all, it's my first thread on this site. I hope you'll help me, because I've just had an hard problem with the Splitfish FragFX controller. Here are the details: the first time I tried it, it worked properly with every game (Unreal Tournament 3, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, TES IV: Oblivion, GTA IV etc.). Yesterday I brought it to a friend's home and used with his PlayStation 3 on Call of Duty 4. It worked well. After come back home, I tried a fast game with Unreal Tournament 3: suddenly, the mouse-side stopped to work. Here are the problems I'm having with it:

- no game doesn't accept input from red light pointer, it's impossible to aim;
- the main button (X, circle, square and triangle) don't work;
- instead, the Start button has the X button function and it's the only button which works, but in wrong way.

I downloaded and installed the latest firmware from Splitifish site but anything changed. Please, I'm desperate, I don't know what I can do. Help me, please. Thank you, bye.

I don't have a split fish but I would reset the entire unit to default, re "associate" the split fish to your PS3 and go from there. It seems to me as if it's just lost it's handshaking with your PS3.

Yeah, but I really like that :D However, my sentence's been quite excessive :)

Ok, does anyone know how can I do this?

Dumb question.....did you replace the batteries and try it?
In the past with my regular PS3 remote I have had issues on low battery and swapping between my 2 PS3's. They have all be fixed by just plugging in the controller to the PS3 to charge and resync.....and twice I had to press the default reset button on the bottom of the remote. Again, I do not have a Split Fish, I'm just trying to give you things to look at.

Give Splitfish a call, They will send you a new one as long as you are within the warranty, 1 year. I had issues and they are sending me a new one.

Splitfish's FragFX has not batteries: it gains charge from USB and cannot simply work without USB connection. But... neither in the manual nor on FragFX device I have seen any "reset" button. Anyone knows about it? Is there?

Thank you very much; has convincing them been difficult? Which issues did you have?

Not difficult at all. I was having disconnecting issues, they asked me to email them and attach a copy of the receipt and they are sending a new one.

Are they still selling the FragFx? I have one and my buddies want one but nobody has them in stock and they are selling twice as much on ebay.

I believe there is PC software which allow you to reset/reprogram the controller...
