now that i am backing up dvd's to my ps3. is there a limit as to how much it can handle on the front end.

for example i have approx 15 movie, and blu ray demos with the 15sec screen grab for the display. i also am backing up my dvd's on the ps3 with 15sec screen grabs for display also. is there a limit as to how many screen grabs for files you can use, or does it matter..??

short and sweet- does anyone have a bunch of demos, and dvd's on the ps3 menu, and found that it slowed the menu/xmb dash down..???

just turning my ps3 into more of a media center..

i have multiple albums, and songs..
many demos, game and film
now i am adding dvd's back-ups.

i have plenty of hard drive space so no concern on that end... 320 internal. and 500 external.

I've had a packed XMB in the past; the more you have the longer it takes to load the list up, but it's never more than a second or two.

The XMB is slow as hell regardless of how much content you have if you try to pull it up during a game.

I've got over a 1000 video files on my NAS and the PS3 will scroll through them faster than you can see them.
