I have a 42 Panny ED Plasma (TH-42PWD7UY). I was attempting to set up new detachable speakers. The new speakers tested out fine but when I was disconnecting I accidentially touched speaker wires and blew out the right speaker side. I removed the speaker and plugged it into the other side and the speaker worked fine so I guess I blew some fuse or something else inside the plasma. I unplugged everything and I still do not get sound on the right speaker. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix or estimates on how much this would cost to repair?

I'm no expert but if your manual shows were the fuses are sounds like that would be a start. For now you could set it to mono so you don't miss the dead channels info. You can always hook up to a stereo, especially if into music video or movies.

Could be a fuse or you may have fried some of the circuitry. See if there is a user serviceable fuse section. If not then you'll have to get it repaired, or deal with getting a receiver for the audio.

Not very likely to find a fused output I am afraid. If you have warranty coverage don't mention that it was user error.;)
