Comcast South Jersey (FOX) has the TB/GB game in SD. Yuck.

MN/TEN game here in Minneapolis. The last couple weeks I thought FOX looked better than what I remember from last year. This came is back to the subpar PQ I'd expect from FOX.

Same here in Pittsburgh with GB/TB.
Seems like the picture is great and switches to low quality blurry HD.
Of course CBS does the same thing here with their graphics going blurry in and out all game long.

one of the best PQ games this year on WACH. However, why is Fox using this TERRIBLE reply camera from above the stadium when showing some plays. Uggh...Its like I hooked my dad's 20-year old camcorder to my HDTV...eww

SF/NO on KTVU through Comcast. On field closeup shots are excellent. Wide shots have the crowd flickering, jaggies on the yard lines. Other than that, PQ is good. Stadium lighting makes whites extra bright but not enough to wash out the picture.

The coaches cam is just a feed to FOX, they do not operate that camera. Some of the higher level broadcasts will put their own camera in that place as well, but typically it does not get much use so it is more economical to use the feed.

Sounds alot more like the difference between FOX and CBS to me.

Arizona Jets is a Fox game. Den KC a CBS game.

CBS is known to consistently have better HD PQ then FOX.

Cowboys/Redskins looks very good on WAHU via Comcast Charlottesville. The first game, Packers/Bucs, looked like garbage.

This seems to be pretty common from Fox. One or two games per week are up to par with CBS. Everything else looks only barely HD.

I think the WAS-DAL game looks good. However, I hate that they keep having to switch to SD before and after highlights...

Does anyone know if and when that'll change?

Why does the OT look so bad? Looks like SD colorspace and resolution but it is still in 16:9. The highlights of the GB/TB game look horrible compared to how it looked earlier live on the same channel. It is soft, blurry, and had bad macroblocking, which I have never seen on Fox before.

The OT is from the Fox studio, and everything from the studio is not HD, it's 480p.

The studio, like all FOX SD widescreen content is produced as 480i, then upconverted to 720p.

It is not 480p.

The Jets game did not look good at all...
