The 87-74 Chicago White Sox, trailing the 88-74 Minnesota Twins by a half-game in the American League Central Division, must play a makeup game on Monday caused by the remnants of Hurricane Ike earlier in September. Chicago will play host to the Detroit Tigers in U.S. Cellular Field at 2:05 p.m. ET to flush out its 162-game schedule.

- If the Sox lose, the Twins win the Central and open against the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field in an AL Division Series on Thursday.

- If the White Sox win Monday, there will be game 163 -- a one-game tiebreaker for all the marbles -- against the Twins on Tuesday in Chicago. Both teams won at home on what was supposed to be the final day of the regular season Sunday -- the White Sox defeating the Indians and Twins upending the Royals.

I really hope the sox win. Even though my team didnt make it into the Playoffs, theres nothing like a tie breaker games to get October Games started.

I really hope the White Sox lose. And its not only because Im a huge Tiger fan.

Its because Ozzie Guillen is a prick, and a disgrace to the game.

I wanna see him whine like a baby and berate his players like the classless individual that he is :D

The game is also on WGN. I wonder if WGN American HD will have it?

They'll play this until it's over - rain or no rain (unless they get a lightning strike close by or it really starts raining heavily).

Or MLB does what it's seems to do now, play the game in Milwaukee. :D

Tigers get another, lead 2-1, bottom 6th.

Sox get 5 on one hit (4 walks, 3 wild pitches, grand slam), take the lead 6-2, top 7th.

Watching on WGN and the game looks good. Sounds good except there's this annoying bird in my speakers.

Sox get 2 more, finish off the Tigers 8-2.
