So I bought a new 160GB HDD for my PS3 yesterday and did a straight swap without transfering my data to the new drive primarily because there isn't really anything worth keeping on the original 40GB drive outside of my Metal Gear save (barely started the game and I mainly use it for BD anyway). What I noticed though is that the GTHD demo isn't on the PSN (at least that I can find) and I'm curious if I'll be able to redownload it? It's just a demo but I enjoyed goofing around with it and want to keep it since it's never going to be a real game or anything. Could I somehow pull the game off my older 40GB drive and transfer it to the new 160GB drive without reinserting the old one and copying it to a USB thumbdrive(assuming it won't try to format the old drive if I put it back in)?

Go to your download history and grab it again.

Go to the PS Store and choose View History on the top right near your Cart.
