Anyone have any experience with Salamander Designs theater seating? I like the look of there Mattao seats, but I'm curious about build quality and craftsmanship. Does anyone know how they compare to Berkline as far as build quality and durability?

Nobody here has any experience with Salamander seating? How about Salamander Designs as a whole?

I have seen and sat in the Salamander seats. I found them quite comfortable. They are high quality recliners and are very well built ((similar to Jaymar in this regard), and of course they come with a price tag. The only other thing except for the price that I did not like was lack of head support.

seemed comfortable when I sat in them, but I would not buy them for the price. The thing I liked most about them was the optional tray that you could mount into the cup holder. The tray swiveled, seemed very sturdy, and would be great for holding a dinner plate and beer. If only Berkline offered this....
