Hello,
I recently bought a LN46A650 Samsung LCD TV. I am thinking of getting the HT-AS720 5.1 HTIB to go with it. I would like to connect a Comcast HD cable box, and a PS3.
I was reading my owner's manual for my TV, and it stated that I could connect my PS3 and cable box to the HT-AS720 Receiver (both via HDMI), then connect the receiver to the TV via HDMI and optical.
Would this work? I am of course aiming for my Blu-Ray's on my PS3 to be playing through the surround sound, as well as the HD cable from Comcast.
I also heard that for the HD cable, only the HD channels will play through the surround sound. Is this true?
Thanks,
HK
