DreamWorks has unveiled details of its latest BD-Live feature for the 'Transformers' Blu-ray, a video called "Robot Ninjas" which is launching today.
The vignette showcases the battle seen in the film between Bumblebee and Barricade, and comes from video diary footage and animatics culled by the film's stunt crew.
The BD-Live feature is accessible beginning today via any BD-Live-capable (Profile 2.0) Blu-ray player with internet access.
I just checked Transformer's BD LIVE on my PS3 console, but I don't see the new content for download.
Anyone else get to download it before they removed it from the server?

I tried to access it today as soon as I saw the news as well, also to no avail. Maybe it will be up again later on.
Maybe its not online yet? I'll check mine tonight before I watch Iron Man.

Did they forget to put these on the Blu-ray disc itself?
Aren't features on Blu-ray discs themselves better quality than downloads?

That was one of the selling points by the BDA for BD-Live. Even after the disc has already been pressed and sold, you can still get new content. And as OP said, they will probably add some TF2-related material via BD-Live before it releases theatrically.
Download quality could be almost as good as the disc features, just look at the HD Blu-ray trailers from the Playstation store.

Downloads are almost as good as Blu-ray disc features? I thought Blu-ray would succeed because it was so much better than downloads?
The features they're putting on the interweb today that you have to use a Profile 2.0 machine to use are "Making Of" featurettes from Transformers 1, that could easily have been put on the disc(s) in the case, and have been put on at a better quality. So it's really a bit of a gimmick, they're withholding features that they filmed/taped while making Transformers 1, didn't put them on the disc, but will be only putting them as internet downloads instead.
If they had been put onto the disc in the first place you wouldn't have had to wait until they were accessible via the web and you wouldn't need a new machine or an internet connection. You'd be able to watch them at any time you wanted, even without web access and if all companies started doing this - what happens when they take the websites or content is down or when they're not accessible? What about ISP bandwidth caps/slower bitrates of the web? They'd be better if they were on the disc.
I can see the trailers for Transformers 2 would be a better use though, but I could watch the trailer for Transformers 2 on the web anyway without a Profile 2 machine.
So I think that, for things except for future things (like trailers for future films), the discs themselves should have all the features so you can watch them at any time even without a web connection at the highest possible quality.

Could you please start a new thread for your specific problem?
My original post asked whether anyone received the new download content which was announced for today.
Thank you.

UPDATE
The BD LIVE content "Robot Ninjas" for Transformers is now available.
Note: It is not download, but instead streaming video (message showed "buffering" when I last checked).
I'll give my impressions after I view it completely.
