I am trying to beat all of the challenges and this one really seems tough along with all the C4 ones, only becuase I hardly ever use C4. This is the challenge where you have to kill an enemy by shooting an explosive device through a wall with bullet penetration.

I did it with luck by one of my bullets penetrated a wall and hit somebodies else's C4 and killed someone [maybe the owner of the C4 I hit].

i actualy did it on crash, in the biggest building some1 had c4 planted by the door and was standing close, i was in the building across that can directly see the headquarters box, shot the c4 cause i couldnt get a clear shot at the guy, bang :)

I think I did mine on Crash. Go to the top of the highest building, then go over to where the ladder is and jump off. Or you could go to the rooftop of the center building on Pipeline and try it.

You could even do it on the map that looks like a missile silo. Just drop down one of the turbines and you'll get credited for that.

Thats how I got it...but not on purpose, lol.

Like the other guys, I got lucky with the "How the ?" challenge! I can't even remember which map I got it on, or how I got it. I have deep impact on all my weapons, so I think by the law of averages I was bound to get lucky with it eventually. Keep playing...you'll get it. Try shooting around the bottom corners of door openings where you suspect guys hiding out in.

I've recently retired from COD4 (to preserve my sanity) and I left only 2 incomplete challenges:

AirBourne Get a 2 kill streak with bullets while in mid-air
and...
Misery Loves Company I Kill yourself and 1 enemy by cooking a grenade but not throwing it.

The first one, I tried and tried....but got tired of jumping off stuff just to try and kill two guys in the air. The second one I tried a couple times, but for some reason, despite how easy it is, I never cared enough about it, I guess.

Most of the challenges relied on luck, or just the law of averages, I think. For instance, I never set out to try Counter-MVP (Kill the #1 player on the opposing team 10 times in a single match) but I still got it...and didn't even know what it was until I looked it up after the game. I think if you were to set out specifically to complete most of the harder challenges, you'd drive yourself crazy.

My thing was maintaining my KDR. I had two accounts. One for golden guns and challenges and the other to try and keep a decent KDR. The last one was definitely more nerve racking for me....and the best I could do was a 1.52 ratio. 1.26 on the other one....where I had to suffer trying to get head shots with the abysmal guns like the mp44!!

you max out all headshots for a class of weapons. one gun from each class then becomes golden (uzzi, dragunov, ak47, ? for the other ones).

Awesome.. can you choose or it picks at random (does it matter what level prestige you are?)

Golden guns aren't affected by prestige. You can't pick which gun you'd like to be golden, unfortunately. Having said that, the Ak47 is by far my favourite weapon in the game. Looks pretty cool with the gold "camo", too. I guess!

any of you guys use extreme conditioning for your third perk? i've gotten addicted to it and am getting some great kills. i like to "run and gun" in free for all and this perk is great. i've literally run circles around people then stopped and put a bullet in their head. :D

i did the falling challenge by jumping into a silo. haven't gotten the C4 challenge as i prestiged up before getting it.

my favorite challenge was the misery loves company challenge. i laughed so frigging hard sneaking up behind a guy camping in a building with a hot grenade in my hand.

i hate campers!!! quit hiding and fight like a man!!!

But I died right after cause of all the crap they put on the screen when you complete a challenge and it just kept going on an on an on loli should have known you were a camper! :D one of my favorite things to do is come up behind a sniper laying prone and knife him in the back. sometimes during a round i'll keep hearing an obvious sniper rifle round being fired somewhere on the map. if i see that the shot is coming from a common sniper point, i'll head over to try and take him out. even if i'm winning the round and need to use the time left to get some "cushion" kills. i can't ever pass it up. then i'll hang around because i know he'll be back to try and set up shop again. THAT is a sweet kill almost as good as the first.

And I like to have multiple camping spots on each map so you never know where I'll be :D
