I go into the ps3's network settings and follow the prompt, but when I test the connection it fails giving me a message saying the key information exchange timed out. I'm using a Linksys wireless router. What do I do?

uncheck the box that says uPnP in the router settings. Which may if you have an xbox 360 keep it from getting online.

are you using the correct WEP settings? it sounds like the ps3 and router can't exchange keys.. (make sure they are both using the same settings)

Sometimes I have to unplug my router for 10 secs or so then plug it back in to get my PS-3 to connect to the net.

The PS3 always picks up 70% signal strength, could this be a problem or no?

Never mind I got it. I had to set a new encryption key, did so and now the PS3 wi-fi is working flawlessly. I'm downloading a sleu of game demos right now.

Off topic, but wtf? Where's the MGS4 demo? Was there ever one?
