Hi all, this is my first post on this forum :) A member recommended it to me.

I bought optimum online with cable and internet. The cable company connected the cable to my computer, but doesn't help me figure out how to actually get a picture. I have been trying so hard find out how to watch TV, but I have no clue and no substantial leads, other than people who are willing to charge me a lot of money to fix it.

I'm at my wit's end. Anyone have any ideas?

PC make/model?
Type of TV/capture card?
Type of software used for TV interface?
Any manuals for your PC/TV cards/software?

There are 100's of PC's/cards/software, in various combinations/configurations that could be used. ;)
