I hope someone can help me out with this little problem, but I have searched and haven't found any answers yet. Basically, I have a 1272 projector which I have been using with a PS3 and HDMI though an HD Fury. It has worked flawlessly, however, it does not seem to be able to sync up to any other devices. I have an Onkyo 605 receiver that has HDMI monitor output and when I connect it up to the projector there is no picture. Also, I have a directv HD-DVR receiver that will not sync up either. Both of these devices work when connected to my 47" Panasonic TV in my bedroom. So I am baffled. I should also mention that the PS3 will sync up with 720p, 1080i and 1080p resolutions. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Do you have the HDFury with the power adapter or just the HDFury?

I had the same setup as you. PS3 to HDFury to 1272 worked wonders, throw the receiver in there and it didn't work. The problem seemed to be that the HDFury needs an active connection as it draws power from the DVI/HDMI to work. The receiver must be expecting the power to come from the display.

The power adapter wasn't available when I bought into the HDFury, so my solution was to add an HDMI switch to the setup between the receiver and the HDFury.
