I'll be there with my family for our annual Disney World trip and my wide has "allowed" me the day free. Is there anything specific I should check out? I am definitely going to see as much 3D related stuff as I can.

This is the time for Sony to get serious if they care about digital cinema. Sony has not upgraded their 4k panels at all for many years while TI has continously improved the Cinema dmd, even one process change to 0.98.
Upgrades are costly and not so popular in the professional market I assuem. That is why Sony should try to kick off 08/09 with an improved 4k panel. So far they have not delivered that many systems. TI´s situation is different.

1 You could ask them rethorically : Do you plan to stay with the current imaging device indefinately?
2 Will there be any other players in the market besides TI and Sony, film or digital?

Yes I will make sure to take a look at Sony 4K. I am particularly interested in all things 3D. By the way, whenever you decide to disgard some of your projection equipment, let me know since I am looking to upgrade right now.

Sure. I will be lost at this show. I have been to CEDIA numerous times, but I really have no idea what to expect at ShowEast.
