i dont know if it is me or what, but my new 9g elite seems to have juddery motion. i try to play with all of the settings but its starting to hurt my eyes. i dont know if all plasmas do this but i am just not sure what to do. would it be a good idea to call pioneer and have them send out a rep to check the tv out?

You would likely be best served to go to the 9g elite thread and get some recommendations on settings and also try different cables such as going from component to hdmi or vice versa. If Pioneer makes a service call and it's found to be okay they may in turn charge you for the unwarranted call so it's best to see if it can be adjusted. You might also post your settings and also whether it's satellite or cable, hd or sd, dvd (blu ray or standard) and your cable connections. What was your previous set you were using?

Which purecinema mode do you have on. If you don't like the judder, try smooth or off. Otherwise, use advance.

Did you have a 120hz LCD with "AMP" or "motionflow" before you bought the kuro?
I had a XBR4 before my kuro and had gotten used to the unnatural smoothness (soap opera effect) of the motionflow.
When switching to a set that does not need motionflow or AMP to cover bad motion performance, it was an adjustment. I had gotten so used to the motionflow and AMP that it took me a while to get back to normal and get used to good motion again.

I saw the Samsung a950 playing a blu-ray with AMP on and it looked very weird. I didn't like it at all when people moved or turned their head it happened too quickly and easily it made them look like they had a ton of caffeine how quickly and smoothly they moved it didn't look right. I like good old fashion film style motion the video look doesn't look right to me with movies. However I fully understand that there are people who share a different opinion and I respect it.

I don't think it will make much of a difference.
When watching Blu-rays I always use Full mode. It makes the picture a little bigger and the black bars not so big.
