Hey all,
So I came home tonight and turned on the projector, and voila, the image is yellowish. For instance, when the Mitsubishi logo comes on at the beginning, the whites are yellow. I use blue as the standard background color, and it appears a yellowish gray.
Is my blue polarizer shot? I've typically heard of polarizer issues happening with areas of the screen, not just a complete color channel missing. Typically I have color issues with the RGB vs. YPbPr setting, but this is not one of those cases...
The 4900 was bought in March, so I guess I have to send it in. Does this sound like a warranty issue, which they will cover, or a repair issue, which I will be out-of-pocket for?
