I have just started using an anamorphic lens with my HD80 PJ.

Maybe I am mistaken, but at times I wonder whether 1 or 2 lines of the top and bottom of the active image are also being cropped when the PJ or video processor does the anamorphic stretch as it feels ever so slightly zoomed in ?

Has anyone else had this feeling ?

I haven't got quite as far as comparing this possible manifestation with 2.35 vs. 2.40 AR movies but I think I might try that next.

And what about the the video processing function for the anamorphic stretch ? Is it a one-size-fits-all job whether the AR is 2.35 or 2.40 ?

Is there a way to tweak the cropping, (if there is any going on) by changing settings on the video processor- BTW I am using a Lumagen HDP.
