I bought a samsung HL50A650 dlp. Problem is when there is a white screen there is an effect you can see that looks like colored sparkles on the screen. Also when there is a straight line across the top of the screen it looks like it bends down in the middle of the screen kind of like a smile across the top of the screen. Last but not least there is a popping noise every so often. Does anyone know of these problems and do you think I should just return it?

of course you shouold return it and get your money back. What you need is one of these projecting on a 120" screen, a lot cheaper too than most DLP tV's

Return the TV asap. If it under warranty, ask for a new set. Don't bother trying to troubleshoot a problem.

Sparkles are caused by cheap DVI and HDMI cables.

Monster cables were famous for this .

Just something to check before you return.
