I apologize if this question has already been covered but I haven't been able to find a definitive answer to it in my searches.

We are finally getting our church's screen mounted and a question has come to me regarding the pj.

The Mit HC1500 will be used as a portable projector and thus unplugged for lengths of time...a week or two or three at a time. Will the pj hold the calibration settings over this period of time or will I have to re-enter the values each time we use it?

Thanks for your help!
Ed

I've left mine unplugged for a week and it retained all the settings, but I would imagine there is some maximum time. I have no idea how long that might be.

It should hold the settings indefinitely. Think of it as a computer. If you turn your PC off for a few weeks, when you come back everything should be the same as when you left it.

Also, Mitsubishi recommends to unplug the projector when not in use. As TF Ghost said it should retain settings.

Thanks everybody for your feedback. It made sense that it would hold settings, but then again I've never operated a pj before and was a bit concerned about the issue. I won't worry about it unless I suddenly see some changes.

Thanks again,
Ed
