10 people on my friends list have Gears 2 in there listed played games, i saw a torrent online but it was deleted a couple days ago...

Wonder if any of them are legit and actually have the cd in hand.

Let's see some gamertags. I don't currently believe it and I'm usually pretty up to speed on these things. Perhaps they are from the media or beta testers.

Beta users or pirates. There's no privacy on Live as far as what people are playing.

Or better yet, just type in their gamer tags here or simply take a picture of the screen. That's why this site is pretty good. It ends the silly threads and fake rumors pretty quickly.

Yeah, ask the guy if you know him. Probably a beta tester or works for the media. It's not out on torrents/pirate sites.

gears 1 wasn't leaked early, its pretty fu*ked up that these people playing get an extra 20 something days to rack up points on the leaderboards for gears 2!

Not really. Usually they reset the leaderboards prior to release.

Considering this game just went "gold" today, meaning ready to be shipped. It is hard to tell, could be a beta tester or they very well could have gotten a hold of a review copy. Either way, I have plenty of games to keep me busy until this one hits.

Back on xbox I got a copy of shenmue 2 weeks before it came so I would build hype on message boards talking about how awesome it is....

November is going to be a great month. The video game I'm looking forward to the most comes outs, as well Guns n Roses long awaited album Chinese democracy is set to drop as well. I wonder what BR's are coming out :)

I'm overwhelmed, yet again by the number of games coming out. I still have barely touched Tiger Woods 09....I still play lots of Halo 3 and a little COD4, Gears 2, Resistance 2. Throw that in with trying to play guitar as much as games, a time consuming Job, and marriage...LOL I wish there were 36 hours per day.

Chinese Democracy is not delayed this time... It's even in the best buy system.. As for it not being GNR, I'm happy to listen to Axl's solo album(s) until they get the old line up back together. And as much of a fan I am of their old stuff, the new stuff that leaked really is amazing.

BTW Add to my list the new Bond flick which I also can't wait for!

Man I cant Wait to get my hands on my life size Lancer , and I definitely cant wait for the GOW2 . Looks like it might be the game to play during these cold months here in the Midwest!!!
