Hi, Im thinking of selling my Optoma hd700x and buying a LG HS101 LED Projector.
Does anyone here have this PJ? Can you give some feedback about it please.
Also, can this PJ project a 60" image and still have good colour and brightness etc?

It's 4:3, 800x600, 100 lumens and 26db fan noise.

Is your room completely light controlled?

Why would you trade one lower-end but good spec ht pj for an obvious low spec business pj?
If going only 60", get a rptv, unless you need it to be portable.

Yes my room is light controlled.
What Is great about the led projectors is that they last for 20 000hours :cool:
Also, the LG PJ is Much cheaper than buying a rptv.

I would not do it, that's a downgrade IMHO.

I posted a similar question recently. No one seems to have any first hand experience with these newer LEDs.

I'm also thinking of grabbing one of these just to try it out and hold me over until next year when brighter HD models and laser versions will be available. Optoma supposedly will be revealing something in January.

Anyway, please share your experience if you get one. :)

Hi All...3rd post...have an LG HS102G...found a LG HS101 on this site nuigroup.com which basically sold me on the HS102 after seeing comparison pix.....info & lots o pix in Photobucket to post...need 3 posts for URL...stay tuned.
