my boss just gave me his old WS-5509 after he bought a new tv
i got it home and it looks to be functiong fine. he said he had a red convergence issue. I watched it for almost an hour and didnt see any problems.
So, my questions are, how hard is it to fix this problem, AND it is even POSSIBLE to upgrade it to put an HDMI input on the tv since it will do 1080i ?

Also, anyway to upgrade the firmware on it by chance?

Did you mean the WS-55609? If so it is a rear projecton set.

Get an HD-Fury and you can have HDMI.
