Anyone else having issues hosting player matches online? What is the trick to getting them to work?

Supposedly there have been lots of online issues. Alot of people have been having problems. I don't think it has been fixed yet. Check out the 2K sports forums for more info. I am still waiting for my game to arrive, so I don't know what all problems actually exist.

Also, does anyone have any good slider recommendations? The in game settings are horribly out of balance.

I love the strategy and sim aspect of this game but anyone else having a very choppy experience. Framerate at times seems to get really choppy. I use the 2k view and notice with quick ball movement things stutter especially if you swing the ball and try to shoot as soon as the ball gets to the shooter. Seems like it gets stuck going into the player movement animation and slows. Also pans of the arena in between quarters flicker like an SOB. any one else noticing this?

I have noticed the frame rate issues as well. This makes it extremely hard to do timing based things like shooting jump shots and free throws. I am not impressed with this game yet. I am almost considering getting Live.

Glad to hear others are considering this too. I have the game and there's a lot to like but there's also a lot to complain about.

The Live Demo seems pretty good but..its Live.

I'm really bummed. I think the AI is spot on in the game. I actually have to change up what I do throughout the game. AI even calls time out more frequently to slow down my runs. BUT as you said the timing things make the game annoying at times. Swing the ball and try to pull up for the J as soon as you get the ball is impossible. Still enjoying it but its too bad its not perfect. I don't recall the demo having this issue.

I have noticed the same issue, and it is not just limited to trying for a quick pull up J, it is just the player movement in general. Also now that I have fiddled with the sliders a bit I am really getting into this game. I still have alot to learn about the gameplay though. My main trouble is shooting 3's and getting the open look for shooting those 3's.

Anybody got any tips for this??
