How large of an mp3 library have people successfully run on a Control4 HTC and wifi speaker points? I have an extensive library of over 30k tracks. When attempting to browse, the system bogs down so slow that it won't display on the remote. Is this simply too much for Control4 to handle?

You are probably pushing the limits of the HTC.

I have a HC-300 however, that works fine with a similar size library

Could I ask approximately how much 30K MP3s cost you?

That's kind of what I figuring also, in which case the answer is: Steal Less Music. Then your media server will work and people who make music can eat.

you definitely need to check out an HC300.. it has a much better processor to be able to handle larger libraries.

i have 2 clients with around 25k of mp3s each. they have an HC1000 as the main controller and there are zero slow downs.. the wifi speaker point has nothing to do with the size of your library

Perhaps he is Canadian ... it isn't illegal in Canada. Period.

I've been buying music since I was 12. I know many bands. You know jack $hit about me.
