I have out grown my Panamax M5400 and I want to pick up a new power conditioner, I have narrowed them down to the following:
Panamax M7500-PRO
Monster HTPS 7000 MKII
APC S20BLK
Rotel RLC-1080
Out of these four, which would you take?
I would go with the APC - very well known and reliable, and they have great customer support.
We use it in all our installations and never had any problems.
We did have some problems with Panamax units - buzzing noise...

I use the APC J10 (http://www.apcc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=J10BLK&tab=documentation)- overall got no complaints other than I wish you could turn it on with a remote

Based on my professional experience in the IT environment (and personal in HT), I concur with those recommending APC. They make power protection for devices that are really sensitive to power fluctuations. Since your HT equipment is comparatively insensitive, they're a brand name I feel I can really trust.
Having said that, I would make sure you go with a unit containing a battery back-up, not just a surge and capacitors (for momentary spikes and undervoltages).
YMMV

Anyone ever looked at Gray's Power Company?
I'll post a thread elsewhere with a link

How much are you going to be selling the 5400 for?

From Rotel's and APC's websites, it looks like the Rotel RLC-1080 is a re-packaged APC S15BLK. Rear panel shots look identical (including APC logo). At a quick glance, so do the specs.

How do you "outgrow" a power conditioner? What is it that you want that the 5400 does not provide?
How about a Tripp Lite HT1210ISOCTR Home Theater Power Center.
This is what I am looking at.
