I've had the car for about a year...no problems with service. I got an email and postage indicating free subscription about to expire.

Tues: I wash and wax car. Sirius working fine and I garage car

Wed: car in garage

Thurs: go to run errands and radio unit has msg to call sirius to subscribe.
1. I call to subscribe. Guy takes my CC number, I ask him how much he is charging... he says 115 dollars for a year and he will send out a new signal. I hang up with him wait about an hour...no signal.

2. I call tech support... they troubleshoot with me and state that my card was never charged because I was still on "dealer" time. This guy sounds confused and not very helpful. His conclusion bring car back to dealer. I ask if waxing the antenna could affect reception he says yes.

3. I call back again and get a female this time. She is more helpful about the credit card situation and states a completely different price for the year. Her conclusion also is to bring back to dealer.

Anyone have similar problem?

If you waxed your car with lead then the CS person might have a point. If you used regular wax then I doubt that's your problem. :)

After you take it back to the dealer and this gets straightened out just tell them you're dropping the service. They'll probably offer you some more free months.
