Hi,
I'm looking for a simple device to play a series of video files on a plasma screen in an information display kiosk - do you have any recommendations ?
All it needs to do is start playing the videos as soon as it is turned on and keep cycling through all its files until turned off, with no user intervention.
A wireless link to get the files on there would be nice-to-have, but not essential.
We generate the files, so could use any common codec/format (avi, mpeg, vob ...etc)
We are currently using a PC, but were thinking of something like the "Freecom Network Media Player WLAN 450" would be cheaper and less hassle. A DVD player and a stack of writable disks may be the cheapest option, but doesn’t seem very elegant or efficient.
Thanks for your help.
Tim.
