about 8 months ago i purchased a samsung Hpt5054. About 2 months ago i started having problems with it(horizontal bleeding or banding I dont know the correct termonology). I made 3 service requests online. every time i made a request a tech was in my house withing 5 days. after the third try the tech still couldnt fix it and requested a new set. Today i just received a pn50a550, so samsung did me real good. just wanted to share

Thank you for the report. We hope that this would happen with the big three out there, Sammy, Panny and Pio, others try to do a good job as well
