Well, I had the 46PZ800 wich I exchanged for a 50PZ800.
The colors seems a bit different with this one than they were for the 46", but I figure it was just the default settings for contrast, picture, etc that were different, and I really did not have any time to fiddle with the settings.

Anyway, I've got two things I noticed.
1) When I use the "warm" color temperature, it's as if all the screen gets a sort of yellow push, well, not exactly yellow, sort of halfway between orange and yellow. Is that normal? I think that with the 46" I never noticed such a drastic change. Right now, I need to constantly change between the color temp for different shows, and I just can't seem to find the right setting for tvs. Normal seems a bit too pale, warm is too yellow, and cool is only good for hockey. And I absolutely need color mgt 'on' for watching football. I haven't watched a lot of DVDs or HD-DVD (in fact, not one full movie since I got this set...) so I don't really know if it's only on TV (HDTV channels, actually).

2) Last sunday, watching tv, I briefly saw a yellow vertical bar appear on the tv, a translucent bar actually. It disapeared as the image changed, and I can't see it anymore. Is it something that is likely to come back and haunt me later on? Should I call Panasonic now, even if I can't see that bar anymore?

2) If you were watching cable and the t.v. was set on SIZE 2 the yellow bar was probably part of the cable brodcast/signal, just change to SIZE 1 and the overscan will get rid of the line.

the warm setting is a bit orange/yellow for my tastes. I leave my pz800 set to normal.
