The strangest thing. After trying a couple of different media streamers (and uninstalling them), my Vista's Windows Media Player will still stream perfectly fine video and pictures but no longer sees my music library. An error message on the PS3 will appear saying DNLA protocol error 7522. It will see however some playlists from my collection.

My Vista has a D-LINK DWA-160 usb adapter, wireless connected to D-LINK DGL-4500 router, wireless connected to DAP-1522 bridge, connected to the PS3. Network is n-only, 5 GHz

Any ideas??

Sounds like something you tried "overrode" your WMPs UPnP, and either you haven't fully uninstalled it or something is still blocking PS3 from seeing the music in your WMP. You might try posting in the PS3 forum.

I did go through the PS3 forum and suddenly realized that between my last use of WMP11 (which was problemless) and my current use of WMP11 (after uninstalling TVersity etc.), we also got the new firmware 2.50 for PS3. I wonder if this has anything to do with it... I might have to do a clean re-install then...
