I'm considering upgrading my Monster HTS 2000 MKII strip and moving to a shelf unit. I'm looking at the Tripp Lite HT1210ISOCTR Home Theater Power Center.

I use Tripp-Lite and APC products in my network design solutions but haven't really seen Tripp-Lite on any boards.

Thoughts?

The design itself look to be solid, if somewhat unremarkable. Aesthetically, it's a nice looking unit.

Depending on what you're planning to hook up to it, I'd really look hard at getting a unit with a battery backup on it. Capacitors, even large ones, aren't going to help your equipment through blackouts or sustained undervoltages .

I have a Tripp-Lite HTRL15UPS and like it. Their customer service so far has been outstanding.
