Hey guys.

I'm wondering if there are any disadvantages to having a low system Q for home theater use?
I've always had a system Q of .7 to .9 and I have never listened to a critically damped sub.

I have an enclosure that would give me a system Q of .5
Is there any reason not to use it for 100% home theater use?

I tend to favor low Q systems. A critically damped alignment tends to give a very good transient response and this can be beneficial for movie reproduction.
