I downloaded the Halloween custom intro that was posted here on the board last year..... I am actually having a halloween movie viewing this weekend at my home and I am trying to figure out how to play this.... I would like it as seemless as possible. Do you guys re-author DVDs to add the intro? This is what I would like to do but I don't know how. If someone could point me to a guide, I can figure it out.
I basically want to rip the main movie from the dvd, add a new intro, and reauthor with no menus or anything.

I would think that the "easiest" way is to rip the movie and the intro to your hard drive. Then I would use Virtual Dub to join them together and save as an AVI file.
You could do it in a VOB format, but it is more difficult.

When I first started on my custom dvd's I used DVD Lab Pro. It is a difficult program to figure out at first but it can do everything.
Now, I use either DVD Archetect or Encore DVD.
In both you can just import the the files that you want then creat a playlist. They create the playlist as a button on the menu. Once you burn the dvd you can just click the playlist button and it will play them back to back.
All 3 programs come with a free trials. Maybe you can download them and try them out.
If you DON'T want the menu to show, you can create a "single movie" DVD. This way, it will automatically play the playlist when you insert the DVD...

Why not use DVD-RW player recorder and make transfer duplication for in-home-use-only! and play it on second DVD player in repeat mode.
Oh and it’s now October 31st Halloween Night!
BOO!:D

So did you have a nice Halloween Night party?:D
I'm on a mac but I rip the DVD without compression to Video_TS, then take the Video_TS from the custom intro and add them together using DVD2One (which I think has a PC version).
