There are two sets of bolts in the front:

Silver ones through the aluminum plate.
Black ones (inner hexagon) bolting the lens to the front aluminum plate.

Neither one will open chamber. The ones at the base of lens (4) are the ones to remove the lens. Have a good hold of the lens with one hand while removing the last bolt. The things are pretty heavy. The back of the lens is curved, so pull it straight out.
