Hi All,

Is anyone going to the Fall Furniture Show at High Point NC? It's kind of a big deal around Carolina and points near, and I wondered if anyone knows if any high end h/t seating will be shown. I saw a post to this forum from someone last spring that there was a Berkline showroom, but does anyone have more insight?

Dates are: OCTOBER 20-26

TIA!

I attended the last couple of Spring shows and had tentative plans to attend this show but decided to skip because of being too busy and working on moving our office. Just about every manufacturer of furniture in the world is represented at "Market", included HT seating manufacturers. Berkline always has a very large presence, including a great HT display, as does Palliser, Coaster and others. What kind of additional information were you looking for? I'm not sure if people other than buyers and manufacturers can attend, but here is the link to the registration page for "Other Market Visitors".

Roman, who frequents this forum usually posts photos of the new Berkline models shown.

We were interested in some of the Cinema-Tech and United Leather seating. United Leather has some interesting models with heat and massage, but we can't find anywhere around here to sit in one. Thought there might be something there. I guess it didn't occur to me that UL or CinemaTech might be there and we not be allowed to look. They sure do make it hard to buy the high end stuff.

I believe I have seen both at CEDIA and/or CES before. But yes, finding certain brands can be tough. Hey, give the companies a call and tell them you are interested in buying and see if they can get you a guest pass. I'm not sure if they'll be able to, but it's worth a shot if you are close.

I just came back from the Market. I did not see Cinematech nor United leather. I was there just for a day to check new Berklines and Pallisers...

Thanks guys! We have a yen for heated seats, since our theater is isolated from the main walls with unfinished space all around. We keep it cool, and it's a bit chilly in winter. Nothing like cool air and a warm chair!
