Im looking to replace my klipsch rsw-12 and spend about $1000 can i improve much from what ive got in this budget? looking alot at def tech, new klipsch, paradigm. Have local dealers for those brands.

Ok sorry mainly home theater use. Medium sized room sub will be placed in the rear corner of the room. I guess I'm not opposed toonline subs but the issue here is you can't listen before you buy.

Go with the big online boys, def tech, Klipsch and paradigm just can not compete with SVS, HSU, AV123 and eD!!!

For 1K you can have a kickass sub setup, I personally would find two subs.

Maybe two b-stock AV123 MFW-15s, that would be close to $1K or look on ebay and get 25 or 30% off!! Used subs are just as good as new subs!
