-1st P:\Video +/- 830GB
-2nd Q:\Audio +/- 75GB
-3rd R:\Photo +/- 30GB

PC: WIN XP SP2

Problem: (This occured when navigating whit the remote controle)
I deleted a folder on the first partition with the button "delete" on the Tvix remote control. (path P:\2 naar TVIX\)

After selecting "YES" when asked if I wanted to delete the selected items ALL the folders on the 1st partition were gone!!!! not just the one I selected.
Normally when using the delete button with a file or folder only that file is deleted.

The Tvix shows me data on the other 2 partitions but the P partition is blank!!

When I connected the tvix to my PC it's the same, the partition is recognised but there's no data. diskinfo says there 100% free space on this partition.

I tried to do "undelete partition" with software like Partition Magic but this option is not availble, I think because the partition is not (yet) really deleted.

check for bad sectors and CheckDisk is not possible because of some generated error.


My questions...

1 How can this happend, loosing al data on a partition!!!
2 How can I get my data/partition back without a full data recovering! because then I have to buy another HD of 1TB.
