Hi to all!
This is my first post here! :)
I have a problem: I'm having black and white image connecting the Emtec Q800 I bought a week ago, with the TV CRT Toshiba (model 32ZH37P) I own.
I'm using the composite output of the Q800 and the composite input (EXT3) of the TV, and the image is steady black and white!
The same problem is if I connect the composite output to any of the two scart (EXT1 and 2) of the toshiba with the included scart adapter.
Output of Q800 is set to PAL (I'm in Italy), if I change to NTSC the image is stretched (obviously) and the color flickers.
Now the weird one:
- the Q800 works perfectly with other TV sets I tried (friends/relatives)
- the Toshiba TV works perfectly with any other video source, from cheap DVD reader to my laptop's output.
Any suggestions? Ideas?
My last chance is to enter Service/Design mode of the TV, as noted here:
(the page title is tp61h95codes)
(the page url is alientech net)
but I read I can damage the TV if I touch wrong parameters...what can I do?
The last stand is to change TV, but I'd like to know WHERE it is the problem, even if it is unsolvable.
Thanks in advance,
Sergio
